If you’ve ever photographed with any of Nikon’s earlier 400mm f/2.8 lenses, you’ll probably appreciate the relatively light weight of the new Z-mount version. At about three kilograms / 6.5 pounds, it is still not particularly portable, but it’s 850g / 2 pounds less than the prior Nikon 400mm f/2.8 E AF-S FL ED VR.
At f2.8 it’s great on the the 12MP 5D, acceptable on the 5DIII and a bit rough around the edges on the 5DSR. The Nikon f2.8E FL is very sharp from f2.8 on both a Z6 (24MP) and a D4 (just 16MP). Focusing of course is faster on the newer Nikon lens which is an advantage for sport action and servo focus.
. 実際に
Next-best is a plate with a flat rubber surface like the plain 200PL. The "pro" plate that comes with the head looks completely inappropriate to use with the 70-200's tripod foot. It's made to attach to the large, flat bottom of a camera body, not a lens tripod foot. When using a plate with a single screw, choose whichever socket on the foot
AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR - this is the latest and greatest. The barrel is the shortest, it's a bit lighter the the VRII, and a lot sharper, everywhere. Currently the best 70-200 money can buy, and the most expensive.
I took all three lenses, the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II, the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED AF-S VR, and the Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS, and I shot our test chart with all of them on the Sony a7R II. For Canon, I used a Metabones T Smart Adapter IV, and for Nikon, I used a Novoflex Nikon to Sony E adapter. I manually focused all three lenses

leoparker said: The NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S is a remarkable lens for all type of videography or shoots. Capture the moments of events Smoothly, silent AF with virtually no focus of breathing. Yes to all those, but it's not parfocal, which would have made it perfect.
