Far Cry has expanded the size and depth of its worlds with each successive game. When directly comparing Far Cry 5's map to Far Cry 6, for example, it is obvious Yara's map is bigger. At just over 12 square miles, Far Cry 6 is almost 2.2x bigger than Los Angeles International Airport, which itself spans 5.5 square miles.
Prismatic Lollipop Jun 8, 2014 @ 7:27am. fullscreen and 1080p issue. so i installed far cry 2 today and launched the game. tweaked the visual settings first, setting it on 1080p resolution. for some reason, i can either run the game on 900p and fullscreen, or 1080 in a window. this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous and day-z already pissed me

Just played far cry 2 for the first time and absolutely loved it. The grounded and realistic gameplay along with the interesting conflict between the two factions. I also loved the jackal as an “antagonist” and the moral grey-ness of everything.

The first Far Cry game actually takes place in 2025, after the events in every game except for the Far Cry 5 sequel, New Dawn. Jack Carver, who was the Jackal from Far Cry 2, is hired by Valerie Cortez, but she ditches him when they approach their destination. He is attacked and forced to flee, then Carver is contacted by CIA agent Doyle. Far Cry 2: Fortune's Edition contains the full Far Cry 2 game, including all previously released patches and the Far Cry 2 Fortunes DLC with additional content listed below. Three brand-new weapons: Silenced shotgun, Sawed-off shotgun, Crossbow. Two new vehicles: Unimog, Quad. Additional weapons and four new exciting maps: Cheap Labor, Last Far Cry 2 is a 2008 first-person shooter developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
